How the chances are computedEstimate, recomputed after every validated score
- Each team's strength is its Houss Power Ranking: its regular-season score margins, sims left out, corrected for the opponents faced. It is the model of the Standings playoff projections.
- Each remaining game reads the strength gap, with a game-to-game spread fitted on this league's results: the bigger the gap, the more often the favourite wins. No home-court edge.
- The series starts from the current record: the site counts every way it can still finish. A decided series shows no chance any more.
Example, Celtics–Magic. Celtics win a game 75% of the time. They need 2 more wins, Magic 1: counting every way the series can still finish, Celtics advance 56% of the time.

One bonus for the final stage reached: the amounts for successive rounds are not added together.
Every play-in or playoff game uses the amount shown above; 0 means no game reward. The game that CLINCHES a series adds the series bonus for the winner; a Finals clinch stacks the title bonus on top. A simmed clinch still pays the series and title bonus — a sim decides how a game was played, not whether a championship happened.
An awarded series has no clinching game, so it pays no series-win or title-win bonus. Its configured placement bonus still applies. Points are credited to the GM's gamertag.
